Interested in converting the videos from your DVD collection to your iPod so that you can view it anywhere? If you have been searching online for information on how to convert your DVD videos to your iPod, you probably know by now that it's not possible. Not possible with the package bundled with your iPod when you purchased them but with a third party software, it's possible. Video to iPod converter tool is never part of your iPod package. I can imagine the disappointment as I too had the mindset that I can have my movies with me wherever I go. You still can as long the videos and movies are downloaded from iTunes . But what about the collection of movies and DVDs collected through out the years you ask? Well, let's just say they won't be able to keep you entertained while you are on the go.
As the saying goes, for every problem, there's a solution; especially when consumer-savvy software companies realize this. You can rest assure that there will be a solution real soon. Before you know it, there are iPod video converting tools popping up all over the internet. In fact, as of now, there are quite a few on the market and then come the next problem, which one is the best? Now, to make things worse, there are even free iPod video converters . Of course, natural instinct would point you towards the free ones but are they good and worth your time?
For every software, there's a learning curve. While it may be easy to use with this type of softwares but free iPod video converters tend to lack behind when compared with commercial converters. With this in mind, it would be time consuming to test a software and then to look for another one to try when one is not up to expectation.
Most free iPod video converters are not exactly free. The word FREE is a strong attention grabber and is a marketing ploy used by companies to attract consumers. Most free iPod video converters are free but for a limited period of time only. Once the trial period is over, you will have to pay. Some have no trial period but with limited video converting features . And you guessed it; the advanced features will be made available once payment is made. To truly enjoy and to have a decent video converter, you do need to invest in a converter that gives you the convenience and the quality and support that comes with it.
A commercial iPod video converter does not really cost much and in fact it is really quite affordable . Most video converters are available for a price below $30. These video converters are able to convert most PC video format to your iPod. Again, what about the DVD collection you ask? Well, now most video converters have the feature to rip or convert videos or movies straight from your DVDs to your iPod.

We all want to the latest hot songs, watch the latest movies and play the latest games, however it is all so expensive that most of us can't afford it. But what if you could get free iPod Nano downloads and never worry about paying any pay per download fees? You can save lots of money, probably hundreds of dollars every month, well, you do the math if a song cost $1, with 100 downloads it's $100.
But it is possible to get free iPod Nano downloads, the only problem most Internet users have is finding the right website, that would provide with free download for your iPod. And yes, it is pretty hard, most today download services charge pay per download fees. I have spent so much time searching for a legitimate iPod site and finally found one that is worth joining.
I have tried over six different iPod services, but most of them were a complete disaster, poor quality of music files and small databases. That's not the right way to get free iPod Nano downloads, but one of them was the best one that I have ever seen.
The best part of course is that you can download everything for free, legally and without any limitations or restrictions. This services showed that free iPod Nano downloads is a reality and all you have to do is look carefully. If you want to join an iPod download service be very careful, as there are so many scam and trash on the Internet that I don't trust 80% of the sites I visit anymore.
I am very happy that I was able to find the one that gives me the opportunity to get free iPod Nano downloads and I have been using this service for a while now and I can't complain. I have video iPod and I love to fill it with the latest high quality movies.
I always find what I need with this service and there weren't any movies or songs that it couldn't find. I highly recommend you try this service, it's a real money saver! Apple iPod - An Ultimate Music Player
iPods, the new brand portable media player was launched by Apple Inc. in October 2001. iPod was a part of the company strategy to mark its existence in the digital electronic market. There were various complaints against existing audio players and Apple found existing digital music players merely “big and clunky or small and useless". Decided to create one Apple set into its production and developed it in less than a year. It was unveiled on October 23, 2001.
It was Vinnie Chieco, a freelance copywriter, who proposed the name iPod. The first iPod demonstration to the public was held in New Jersey in March 1998, and its commercial use began in January 2000. Generally, iPod is associated with a host computer. Each time when an iPod gets connected to its host computer, iTunes gets synchronized to the entire music libraries or music playlists either automatically or manually. The songs are later transferred to the iTunes library.
But always there have been criticisms against iPods. Even lawsuits were filed against it for failing to meet the expectations assured through the advertisements. In 2003, Apple was sued for the shorter life of batteries, which was later settled by either a free battery replacement or a US$50 store credit. There was another criticism regarding the third generation iPod as they had a failed response in audio tests.
There have been allegations of short life span of iPods According to a survey held in 2005; it was found that the iPod had an average 13% failure rate. In late 2005, there were complaints from users that the surface of the first generation iPod is easily scratchable leading to a law suit.
But whatever may be the case, no doubt iPods have a large fanfare in the entertainment market. The claim by "Apple 1000 songs in your pocket", has never failed to evoke a response among the users.

How To Prolong Your Apple iPod Battery’s Life?
The Apple iPod is the most popular portable mp3 player today. Like many users, I have been thinking of ways to prolong the lifespan of my Apple iPod battery. Here are 5 tips that will help to improve your Apple iPod battery lifespan.
Before I start, it is important to update your iPod firmware to the latest version. For example the iPod firmware version 1.2 provides better power management features for your iPod battery.
1. Backlight Settings
You can set the iPod backlight timer setting to minimum. I have set mine to 3 seconds. That means when there is no activity for 3 second, the iPod will turn off the backlight automatically. You can even switch it to off if you are using the iPod in bright areas.
2. Brightness Settings
For Apple ipod firmware version 1.2 and above, you should be able to access the brightness control. You can go then iPod Menu, then select Settings and lastly Brightness. By reducing the brightness, it can help to reduce the power drain from the iPod battery.
Unless you are watching videos on your iPod, I usually reduce the brightness to about 40 percent when listening to mp3.
3. Charging Your Apple iPod Battery
Try to avoid frequent full discharges because this can cause strain on your iPod battery. There is no harm in charging a battery even if is is not totally drained.
4. Keep Your iPod Battery Cool
Heat is the most common reason for the short life span of iPod battery. Try to avoid putting your iPod in the sun for long periods of time.
Always remember to put your iPod in sleep mode when you are not using it. This helps to save battery life.
5. Avoid Frequent Changing of Tracks
Since the iPod uses the same type of technology to store data as your computer, frequent changing of tracks means the iPod has to continuously access the internal iPod hard disk. In this case, the hard disk has to be continuously spinning and can reduce battery life.
By implementing these 5 tips, you can help to prolong the lifespan of your Apple iPod battery.

Ipod Movies – Unlimited Ipod Movies Site Review
Ipod Movies
Unlimited Ipod Movies is one of the best ways I have found for ipod movies. Not only do you get unlimited ipod movies you also get music. Ipod movies and music are from the largest lists of selections I have seen.
Unlimited Ipod Movies is the fastest download site I have used to date. The site makes it very easy to find any movie or song fast. It is quick and easy to find all of the your favorite ipod movies and songs. Once you've download you choice or choices you can quickly begin to play you movie or song.
There are no hidden cost or any extra fees once you join. I have yet to find a site that offers this kind of quality service. There is no per song download fee, so you can download as many as you wish in the best MP3 format.
Most of the other sites that offer similar memberships don't have this size database for selection. I absolutely love this site over all the other ones that I have tried, for ipod movies and music. I give this site a perfect 10 score. You'll find that I never give any site that kind of rating.
The unlimited ipod movies site gives you all the information you need to know before singing up along with a full demo to see how the site can work for you. They only charge a one-time membership fee, which is very cheep for what you are getting. You can make that money back after creating two or three cds or DVD movies.
I have seen many sites that are competitive among each other but this one clearly stands out from the rest. In just one week I have doubled the size of ipod movies database and the same with my music database. There is so much to choose from.
If you are looking for quality ipod movies and music downloads, you may want to check this site out I have placed a link at the top of my website were you can click and go to the site and see for yourself.
